Arriving Hong Kong
Hong Kong is one of the world most densely populated areas in the world, became independent in 1997. It's only 1 hour away from the mainland. It's different than the movies, as the directors would portray different views from the city itself. I'm grateful to be able to went there, all thanks to my sister and dad. Samantha went along, with my sister and I. Arriving on 13th of June, we only had a few days to spent time visiting places. But it was worth all the sweat, walking and rushing here and there. Definitely not to mention it's shopping season as there were further sales. =) Without further adue, I'll show you the pictures.

Shot from the plane, with the ships and containers near the airport, no doubt Hong Kong is one of the four Asian Tigers.
Without time wasted, we went to the central of Hong Kong. We met Ken, which is a friend to my sister. He brought us 'kai kai' throughout the city. Shops of merchandize and goodies are abundant in Hong Kong.

Would't want to miss out the shopping. It wouldn't be a perfect trip without your loved ones'. =)

Have you ever seen Armani's chocs in Malaysia? Doubt so. The whole building is dedicated to Armani's fans.

Another product by Armani.

Flowers for thee? 'Vuala'.

This harbour is one of a kind. With the sea breeze and calm water of the sea, it is relaxing just to ride this ferry.

The city view. Looking at the sceneries around Hong Kong. The ferry ride was around 15 minutes.

The place we're headed. To watch the Symphony of Lights from the opposite side.

This is the view at night. I assume the current bills would be very high. Tourists could be seen flopping into the deck to view the Symphony which runs at 8 P.M.

The clock reminds me of something.

After the symphony, Ken took a picture of us 3 together. *Wink*

The famous redsail boat/sampan. They serve beverages. It's got a pretty redsails.

Ever read this novels? There's Louis Vuitton logo with it. Wonder is it associated?

The whole street of famous material stuff.

Cartier, the world renowned jeweller and watchmaker. =)

After hours of long walk, we head to this restaurant. It's quite unique. It looks like some hideouts of some gangs or Yakuza. The decorations is mixture of japanese and chinese I suppose? The food was a 3.5/5.

See what I mean. No?

A fragrant tea. Apparently they don't serve in a glass. I had to finish this all by myself initially.

We were starving, and picture taking was the only thing to forget our hunger, even if it's just for a little while.

Our appetizer. Rolled up Hams with sweet soy sauce.
Mushroom dish with sesame sauce.

Strawberries with sweet and sour chicken. The fragrant could make you swallow your saliva. =)

Man, I'm hungry looking at this. Fried rice with huge prawns and the all other dishes.

Brinjal cooked with fish. Mmhmm!

Couldn't recall the name of this dish. =/

A sweet kind of dessert. Bubu ChaCha.

Didn't manage to visit a few places like Victoria Peak. Hong Kong Disneyland coming up soon. Don't miss out. Before I forget. For techies freaks like me, the gadgets over there are way much cheaper! So head out to check out your favourite accessories when you're there. ;p

A shout out to Wai Ling and Adeline. Missed out their birthdays. ;)

Originally published in 2005 as Q & A :) Read the book before catching the movie! That way you'd be able to tell which scenes were excluded in the movie. The best purchase made of the day.

Four Points Buffet, Anyone?
Four Point by Sheraton Hotel. I recommend you to go there during lunch and dinner hours and of course, make sure you've plenty of appetite and room for the A la Carte' style buffet ranging from RM38 ++ to RM58 ++. Its simple mind-set environment and spacious dinning tables makes customers feeling ease to move around and dine.

There's lots of variety from eastern to western cuisine. There's a Japanese section presenting fresh seafood such as mussels, prawns, hams and wasabi to top it off while there's Dim Sum, Pau and fried wan ton for the Chinese menu.

Spaghetti and pasta of different kinds of sauces are are prepared. Besides that, chicken rice, noodles and kueh tiao soups are cooked upon request.
Wonder what's that in the test tubes.? I suppose it's something where you could mix it all up and it taste sweet. Desserts consisting of cakes and candies, which is eye-catching of course to anyone of any age and it's mouth-watering.

A lovely smile. Want a muffin? ;p
Busy with school work and activities. Doing my mathematics as for now.

Outz~

Miss-independent
Ooo... There's something about the way she look, I just can't figure out, there's something about her.. Reassembles someone I love. ;) Ne-yo has every talent of a singer, song-writter and actor. I've yet to watch "Stomp the Yard" which he stars in after 2 years. Darn.

After the silence for two weeks, I'm back! Well, getting transferred done, for studying in Kuching has been like for 2 months. Mistakes were done by myself for the transfer. I've been pretty busy lately with exam, studying and making up a few adjustments, not to mention having exam on the 1st day I'm attending school this year. Upper 6 sure is tough with lots of assignments, exercises and books to read, but with someone beside you love, you just don't feel the pinch. ;) I'm yet to complete the practicals for Biology and Chemistry, not to mention the exercises for mathematics that I've to focus in.

Hoping to catch up with some friends when I'm back and meet new ones'. Not forgetting to spend some quality time with Samantha. ;)

Got an email from Michelle Kuek, an ex-classmate. Do read. =)

THE SCARS OF LIFE

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.

He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

His father working in the yard saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could.

Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late. Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the father grabbed his little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the father, but the father was much too passionate to let go. A farmer happened to drive by, heard his screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator.

Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his father's fingernails dug into his flesh in his effort to hang on to the son he loved.

The newspaper reporter who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, 'But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Dad wouldn't let go.'

You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you.

The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way But sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril - and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins - and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go.
Please pass this on to those you love. God has blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to others. You just never know where a person is in his/her life and what they are going through.

Never judge another persons scars, because you don't know how they got them. Also, it is so important that we are not selfish, to receive the blessings of these messages, without forwarding them to someone else.

Right now, someone needs to know that God loves them, and you love them, too- enough to not let them go.

Say now, would you appreciate and hold on the ones' you love? I do and always will. =)

amorousness day
Roses, chocolates, movies, dates, and gifts. What does it all got to do in a day? Say, it must be Valentine's of course. =) It's my first time ever to go out a person on the day itself. Say, "pretty new ei mate?" You betcha. *Winks*

Exhaustion from the day before, due to laDuring the day itself, I woke up early to make breakfast, which I had to do silently and slowly. Didn't want to wake up the lady yea.? =) It's American kind of breakfast I prepared. It was around 8.30 am, I was done preparing. Waiting for her to arise from bed, I waited and waited.. *Thinks of what time would she be awake.?* Due to 30 minutes before church, which I've forgotten that we can't mix food with the "Holy Communion Bread", had to cancel the plan. Hmm.. She woke up at 9. Hoping she'll like.. *Cross fingers* ;)

My personal favourite picture. Went to Sunway Pyramid to meet up Norman Hiu. It was his Birthday on Valentine's Day.! You could rarely heard of one birthday on the same day with Valentine's. No?

Got this picture from mua honey. =) Tongue's out! What was I supposedly thinking of.? ;P

A potrait of her in black and white.
Samantha.. Honey.. Tu Amor~~

I will have a better surprise for her next time. Till then.. *Cheesy*
